The Paulette Fialkoff-Amodeo Scholarship is now open. This offer is open to all Local 1102 members, their spouses, and their children who will be attending a college or university during the Fall 2024/ Spring 2025 academic year.
The deadline to apply is May 10, 2024.
Alvin E. Heaps Scholarship
The RWDSU Alvin E. Heaps scholarship is updated and ready to be downloaded at RWDSU.org/benefits, at the bottom of the page. The awards are given annually to RWDSU members or members of an RWDSU family, and reward good grades and a demonstrated understanding of the role of unions in workers’ lives. The scholarship honors the legacy of former RWDSU President Alvin E. Heaps (1919-1986).
The deadline for applications is June 30, 2024.
UFCW Charity Foundation Scholarship
In 2024, the UFCW Charity Foundation will award several scholarships, up to $8,000 each, to UFCW members or their unmarried dependents under the age of 20. Members can find a link to the scholarship application at RWDSU.org/benefits, and a direct link to the scholarship can be found at ufcwcharityfoundation.org/scholarship/.
The scholarship application will be available online from February 12, 2024 – May 12, 2024.
