Everyday Local 1102 Union Representatives are in the field visiting shops, responding to member concerns, and working hand and hand with shop stewards to serve our members. Whether pursuing grievances or informing members of the rights and benefits secured through their contract, Local 1102's primary goal is the welfare of its membership. EDUCATION - A powerful membership is an informed membership. Local 1102 works tirelessly to educate its members regarding their contract and important protections under the law. Through the innovative Empowerment Program the union works to better inform workers of the collective bargaining process, union organizing, and public policy.
GRIEVANCE HANDLING - The union is passionate in protecting the rights of its members and seeking justice when wrongs have occurred. Our Union's Field Services team has the experience and know-how to effectively handle member concerns and fight for fair resolutions when conflicts arise.
SOLIDARITY - Local 1102 strives to build a powerful coalition that is a force in the struggle for worker rights. Union members can count on their brothers and sisters as well as their Union for support in the workplace and beyond.
